Supplementary fired (Saacke Grid Burner) Waste Heat Boiler, later modified to incorporate an FD fan for combustion enhancement and partial auxiliary firing. All site erected from piece small components due to the plant being situated in an inaccessible location. All installed and commissioned by DSSL; and since has been maintained, modified and all outage work carried out by DSSL. |

Nine years ago DSSL were engaged to supply supervision of construction and commissioning for a thermal power station on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. DSSL also operated the station for 6 months whilst the client got into place their people for a 2 year operation contract. At this time DSSL were engaged by the client to carry out super heater replacement on the 2 off package boilers on the Antigua Site. |
